Over the course of your life, you’ve tailored your home to be exactly how you want it. You’ve set routines that feel familiar. However, as you get older, you may find it hard to keep up with things. You may struggle to do household chores or make your way around town. We aim to make sure you don’t have to struggle with the day-to-day.

We tailor our care to meet your needs. We can provide from a minimum 4 hour minimum up to 24 hour care. We specialize on placing the right caregiver provider to match your needs.

When serious and chronic health issues affect you or someone you love, you might think the only option is assisted living or a nursing home. But the familiarity and comfort of home can make all the difference in the quality of life. We offer skilled nursing care that can help ensure your family member’s medical needs are met at home. It’s quality, one-on-one medical support and attention, without the hospital. Best of all, our qualified health care professionals are hand-picked to match your loved one’s situation, whatever it may be.

Therapy Services

Our therapy services are designed to help patients move and live more comfortably with customized plans that take home and lifestyle into consideration.

Whether it’s the alleviation of pain or a desire to move more independently, Roadrunner’s therapy team develops care plans to restore movement and functional ability.

How our services are covered

Home health services are generally covered by most medical insurance plans, including Medicare. Before we provide care, we will let you know if you will be responsible for any cost.

  • Long-term Care Insurance
  • Private Pay
  • Other Insurance

Please contact us with any insurance questions. You can also call your insurance company to verify home health benefits and to see if we are in‐network for your insurance provider.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR HOME HEALTH CARE SERVICES?

Medicare and most private insurance companies require that the following criteria be met to qualify a patient for home health care services:

You must be an eligible Medicare or insurance beneficiary.
One of your physicians must order and supervise the home health care services.
You must be considered homebound, meaning it is a taxing effort for you to leave the home; you can leave the home only infrequently with the help of another person or assistive device.
You require skilled nursing or therapy services on an intermittent (not full time) basis.

WHAT DOES MEDICARE PAY FOR?

Medicare will pay for all your home health care visits when the above criteria are met. Medicare will also pay for supplies needed for your care; however, Medicare does not pay for everything. For example, Medicare does not pay for 24‐hour care at home, meals delivered to the home, homemaker services (shopping, cleaning, laundry), or personal care services unless it is paired with skilled nursing or therapy services.
